Description
Each student will be given coin manipulatives to use to examine each coin and its value. As students become more knowledgable, we will move onto a worksheet where students needs to add the correct amount of coins to get a sum of the number given. Students will have lots of practice with this before moving forward to the next part of the lessson. (manipulatives can be used before and during completing the worksheet for more guidance).
