Students learn about the impact of human behavior on the collapse of an Alaskan aquatic ecosystem. Requires students to read a news article, analyze the feeding relationships described in the article, and create a food web of the feeding relationships within the ecosystem. Once the food web is complete, students analyze the cause and effect of the collapse of the ecosystem.
