Description
This project was done in conjunction with real world observation of the creation of an ecosystem. Periodically the students would observe the ecosystem and how the living things in the ecosystem interacted with each other. From these observations and the implementation of this Inquiry project students were able to gain an understanding of how the food chain functions to transfer energy to living things. The students also learned the three main categories of living things as well as the interdependence of all living things. My goal for educators is to gain a student perspective by participating and creating by doing the learning activities that my students did.
