This HyperDoc is meant to be used in the first two weeks of school during the deployment of 1:1 iPads to 5th and 6th grade students. The students need a comprehensive overview of digital citizenship as well as to get going with some basic GAFE tools like Google Classroom and Google Slides.
The teachers using this HyperDoc will have varying skill levels and degrees of comfort integrating technology in their teaching. The tools used are reliable and straight-forward so that every teacher may experience a successful lesson. At the same time, this is a model for the way a HyperDoc can change the way teachers think about integrating technology in a 1:1 environment.
