Genetics, Genetic Engineering & Cloning Make a Copy
Use the following Hyperdoc to guide your students in exploring recent advancements in Genetic Engineering. In engage 1, Students will be asked to predict what they know about the topic already. (I created a Google Form of common genetic misconception, had the students take the survey and discuss their answers as an anticipatory set.) They then are asked to do a sort of Modified K-W-L activity to get them thinking more about the topic.
On Day two the students explore the web links that they are most interested in. You can choose to include a 2nd day of individualized exploration to give the students more time to follow a more specific area of interest if you would like. I gave the Students 2 weeks, 1 week for the Hyperdoc & 1 week to create an info-graphic in Google Slides.
