Description
Students explore the surface of the Earth in specific places using Google Earth, to make observations of landforms and places in the ocean. Students are guided to discuss and then answer questions on a response in google docs about what they are seeing. This is aimed at 5th graders who are beginning to study the essential question, "How and why is the surface of the Earth constantly changing?" This lesson is an introduction to erosion, deposition, and tectonic plate movement.
